Former national U-23 Eagles handler, Kadiri Ikhana believes that the
domestic league can be better packaged to achieve greater height in the
new season if the administrators in charge of the league show more
commitment and readiness to make it better.
The former national team player who was responding to the February date proposed for the commencement of the new season said Nigeria is blessed with talents that could make it happen only if there is more commitment from the administrators.
“Well, the league has been on break for a long time and now that February is being proposed, I think the administrators should work harder and show more commitment so that we can do better than the previous seasons”, says the soccer tactician.
Ikhana who has been tipped to take over affairs at the league champions, Kano Pillars also believe that the new season should be used to improve all areas that needs attention while calling on all clubs to work on the welfares of their players.
“Well, it is taking a long time since the last season ended but I believe that if we are starting late, there must be assurance of organizing an excellent league this term. We are blessed with players and we should make sure that we make the environment better for them to display their talents.
It would be recalled that Ikhana had coached Sunshine Stars, Enyimba and few other clubs in the domestic league.
